  • INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC OR KNOW OF SOMEONE? RCIA: (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults) is the process through which persons join or complete their initiation (Eucharist and Confirmation) into the Catholic Church. Inquiry sessions are held on Sundays from 12:15 to 1:15 pm in the Conference Room in the Parish Office. These sessions are offered in a relaxed atmosphere and give the inquirer an opportunity to ask questions about the Catholic faith. Call Susan Dobrzykowski or e-mail at sdober@verizon.net with questions, concerns. Flyers are located at the entrances of the church.
  • ADULT CONFIRMATION CLASSES: Classes for adults desiring to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation will be held Tues., April 15 to May 13 in Room 205 from 7- 8:30 pm. Must be 18 or older and have received the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist. Celebration of Confirmation will be at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen on Sunday, May 11.   • BICENTENNIAL LECTURE SERIES AT BASILICA: A three-part lecture series to commemorate Baltimore’s elevation to an Archdiocese in 1808 will take place at 7:00pm at the Basilica. On Tues. April 22 Archbishop Timothy Dolan will speak on “Right from the Start”—John Carroll, our first bishop. On Mon. May 12, Mr. George Weigel (“Popes, Power, and World Politics: From Leo XIII to Benedict XVI). On Mon. June 9, Ms. Colleen Carroll Campbell (“The New Faithful: Why Young Adults are Embracing Christian Orthodoxy). All three lectures are free and open to the public.
  • SUMMER SEMINARS 2008: OLF will host the Archdiocesan Summer Seminars on July 1, 8, 22, and 29. This is a great opportunity to learn more about your faith. Clock hours available for Catechist certification.
  • RETREAT AT OLF PRESENTED BY RENEW INTERNATIONAL: Are you hungry for more than food? Do you want to deepen your journey with the Lord? Do you desire to ‘sit and rest’ in your faith? These questions and more will be addressed as we reflect on “Eucharist: Bread for the Journey.” Plan to join us on Tuesday, May 6, 7:00 to 9:30 pm in the Parish Hall for an evening respite and “Come away, and rest a while.”
