Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers assist the priest and deacon in the distribution of Holy Communion under both species (bread and wine) at all Masses. They also bring Holy Communion to the sick and shut-ins, as needed.
Lectors proclaim God’s Word at Mass by reading the Word of God in a way that will help the congregation fully appreciate and understand the message God is sending forth.
Mass Leaders prepare for the celebration of the Eucharist by preparing the sanctuary and gift table for each Mass.
The sacristans are in charge of the church sacristies and their contents. They make sure all the necessary church supplies are in good condition and of sufficient quantity.
Ushers assist at Mass and liturgical services by greeting people and helping with seating and movement before and during the service. They are also responsible for the offertory collection, communion processions and the distribution of the Sunday Bulletin (and other materials) after Mass.
