MARCH FOR LIFE
The March for Life is Friday, January 27th Washington, D.C. Our Lady of the Fields will have a bus to take folks to the March leaving about 10:30am and returning to OLF about 5pm. Join the many thousands of people from all across the country as they peacefully stand up (and march!) for life. Offers counseling and education to women facing unplanned or problem pregnancies. Located in Glen Burnie, they are seeking day time volunteers. If you are able to give a few hours each week to help women and teens in need or in a crisis pregnancy, please call (410) 761-8082. Volunteer training begins in mid-October. There is also an urgent need for Spanish speaking volunteers.

Anne Arundel Single Again Catholics
AASAC is a combined effort of Our Lady of the Fields, St. Andrew by the Bay, St. Jane Frances and other churches within and outside Anne Arundel County. This group supports those who are experiencing or have experienced separation, divorce or the death of a spouse by helping them understand and deal with the pain and mental suffering this can cause.
Annual Holiday Sharing Campaign
This campaign raises money to donate age appropriate gifts and turkeys with all the trimmings to the local needy at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
This group goes to downtown Baltimore with food and clothing for the homeless in Friday evenings throughout the year. They provide a full hot meal and distribute clothing to 80 – 115 men, women, and children each week.
Our Daily Bread
Our Daily Bread places empty casserole pans containing recipes in the church vestibules for parishioners to take home and prepare food. The prepared casseroles are returned to the freezer in the church center. The casseroles are then transported to Our Daily Bread in Baltimore.
Operation Rice Bowl
An annual Lenten fund raising program coordinated by Catholic Relief Services for people in impoverished regions of the world.
Dinner’s are prepared twice a month for homeless families living temporarily in Sarah’s House at Ft. Meade. Are you a good cook with a free hour or two each month? The OLF group of volunteers who serve dinner at Sarah’s House on the 3rd Monday and Tuesday of each month are looking for a few additional cooks to help prepare part of the meal. The Severna Park Assistance Network (SPAN) provides food and limited financial assistance to persons facing emergency situations.
Winter Relief for the Homeless
This group provides food and shelter for the homeless and destitute of Anne Arundel County at the parish one week during the winter.

We visit prisoners in the local prisons to pray with them and discuss the teachings of the Church. We also assist with religious services in the prisons.
Social Justice Advocacy Group
This group promotes living the Gospels in matters of Church teaching. It promotes social justice, pro-life, and educational programs to enhance the dignity of all people. The group also advocates church teaching to the Maryland State Legislature.
