STAND
The Archdiocese of Baltimore has instituted a comprehensive plan in all parishes and Catholic schools for the care and protection of children and youth (STAND). Well over 400 volunteers, employees, and staff of Our Lady of the Fields have already completed the process of certification and compliance with Archdiocesan policy. Specifically, this policy requires all volunteers to complete an Application for Volunteer Service as well as read the Archdiocesan Code of Conduct and the Statement of Policy. Additionally, those volunteers who have substantial contact with children must also complete a Volunteer Criminal History Screening Consent Form, submit and have verified 3 references, and complete Online STAND training. Also, any volunteer who drives a motor vehicle on behalf of the parish must also submit a Driving Record Check Consent Form.
For more information on becoming STAND compliant, please contact: Mrs. Debbie Kitchen in the Faith Formation Office at (410) 923-2195 or Mrs. Joni MacDonald in the Youth Ministry Office at (410) 729-1702.
