Registration is now open for the Women’s Day of Reflection in Glen Burnie, Saturday, April 1, 2017 with Father Dan Leary.  The retreat will be held at the Church of the Crucifixion, 100 Scott Avenue, Glen Burnie, and begins with Rosary at 8:30 am, followed by Mass at 9, two talks, a brown bag lunch (you provide) and Adoration and healing prayers in the afternoon.

The Seder Meal: On Thursday, April 6th from 6:00 to 8:30pm the Shrine of St. Anthony will hold a Seder Meal as a remembrance of the Last Supper Christ shared with his disciples and its connection to the Passover meal of the Old Testament.  The cost for this event is $30 per person which includes a full meal.  Please RSVP for this event by March 29th.  To register or for more information please call 410-531-2800 or visit our website at

Tenebrae Service: The Shrine of St. Anthony will celebrate its annual Tenebrae Service Wednesday, April 12th  from 7:30 to 8:30 pm.  From the Latin word for shadows, “Tenebrae” is an ancient liturgical custom of walking with Jesus to the Cross and Tomb through scripture and song.  As Christ, the Light of the World, descended into the darkness of sin and death, this liturgy uses light and darkness to symbolize the mystery of the Cross.  For more information please call the Shrine at 410-531-2800 or visit

Wisdom & Works of Mercy: Fr. Michael Gaitley’s “Wisdom & Works of Mercy” study program begins Thursday, Feb. 2nd, 7:30-9pm thru Apr. 6th.  This study brims with wisdom and wonder….”  Fr. Earth Day Celebration is Saturday, April 29.  Join us at this year’s Earth Day Celebration at Our Lady of the Fields.  There will be a yard sale, information about our Care for Creation Ministry, straw-bale garden tours, beehive demonstration, youth plant sale, children’s activities, and more! Annual Single Again Conference is Back!  Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Our Lady of the Fields. Sponsored by Single Again Ministry of Our Lady of the Fields – separated, divorced, and widowed Catholics, reaching out to help others who are walking the road we’ve traveled. We encourage those seeking healing to attend the conference. All are welcome. Registration includes breakfast/snack and onsite lunch. Wine and Divine: Introducing a new ministry for young adults from 21 to 35 years old.  Our next meeting will be Saturday, April 30 from 7:00 to 9:30 pm in Room 203-204.  This ministry meets on the last Sunday of each month.  Food will be served and there is a two-drink limit. Blood Pressure Screening:  Each hospitality Sunday, we have someone available to take your blood pressure and provide you with health resources.  We usually only go to the doctor when we are sick, but sometimes we don’t pick up on warning signs that can be easily tested. The screening doesn’t take any time and you can track your own health stats over each month. Please take this free opportunity to check up on your health.
