Baptism
Baptism is the first sacrament of initiation into the Christian life. Through baptism, God frees us from all sin, both original and personal, and makes us members of the Church by uniting us with Christ. Through baptism, we become an adopted child of God.
Baptism is a prerequisite to receiving the other sacraments of the Church.
Baptism preparation classes are required for all parents who wish to have their child(ren) baptized at our church. Parents are instructed on the meaning of baptism and the responsibility of raising their child in the faith. To register for classes and schedule a baptism, email Debbie Kitchen at baptism@olfparish.com.
